On April 16 Majie debuted his Interactive Art Series, ‘Re-Create’ at Art Lab VII in Vancouver. ‘Re-Create’ was met with great enthusiasm and created quite a buzz.
People totally got the concept and tapped into their playfulness and creativity. Participants loved being able to interact with the art and create their own composition, especially intrigued by a piece of art that is ever-changing. It was delightful for me to see people’s eyes light up with surprise and laugh as they enjoyed the process of making their own creation. I heard over and over, “This is great!”, “This is cool!”, “I’ve never seen anything like this.” If you missed us at Art Lab be sure to catch ‘Re-Create’ at Art Vancouver May 27-29 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
